Air India and Airbus to Setup Largest Pilot Training Facility in South Asia

Campbell Wilson, CEO of Tata Air India (AI), announced in a letter to employees on October 6th that the company has introduced a new tool called “Airport Briefing” to enhance pilot situational awareness and mitigate risks.
Since April this year, the Air India (AI) group airlines have successfully recruited and onboarded approximately 650 pilots, as stated by Air India CEO Campbell Wilson.
The Indian Pilots Guild (IPG), representing Air India (AI) pilots, has raised the alarm over fatigue-related issues stemming from the recent duty roster generated by Air India’s newly introduced Jeppesen system, a US-based platform.
