Sanjeev Taneja, the chief financial officer of SpiceJet, resigned on Wednesday. The resignation is reported to have occurred in the midst of expanding losses and numerous mid-air mishaps.
His departure will take place on August 31, 2022.

It should be noted that a cyber security attack caused a delay in the release of the results for the March quarter.
SpiceJet stated that it would seek up to $200 million in funding. Nevertheless, a few banks have voiced their concerns regarding loans to the carrier.
According to the company, the Board has chosen a candidate for the position of chief financial officer.
According to the statement, “The vacancy shall be filled in the month of September 2022 and the necessary disclosure regarding such appointment shall be made upon completion of all formalities.”
SpiceJet delays salaries
Even though the airline company claims that the payments are being made in a “graded format,” employees earlier today complained that their salaries had been delayed for a second consecutive month.
According to workers, the payment of salaries to staff members, including flight crew, for the month of July was delayed. They added that many people still had not received Form 16 for the fiscal years 2021–2022.
