DELHI- In light of robust demand along the route and the expected increase in travelers during the upcoming summer season, Vistara (UK) announced on Wednesday its decision to deploy Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on the Delhi–Bali route starting March 31.
The airline initially introduced daily, non-stop flights on this route in December 2023, utilizing Airbus A321LR aircraft. Vistara has been the sole provider of direct flights between these two cities.
Vistara 787 on Delhi-Bali
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Vistara boasts a spacious three-class cabin setup and offers state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment with live TV and Wi-Fi connectivity onboard. Additionally, it features lie-flat business class seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, ensuring direct aisle access for every passenger.

Furthermore, the last 787 for the airline is en route to India at the time of publication of this post.
IndiGo’s Bengaluru to Bali Flights
IndiGo Airlines (6E), the largest carrier in the country based on fleet and passenger volume, has revealed its longest route to date with the introduction of daily flights to Denpasar (DPS), Bali from Bengaluru (BLR), India.
Further, this will be the 33rd International and 119th overall destination for Gurugram-based airlines. Commencing on March 29, 2024, the airline will deploy Airbus A320neo aircraft for this route.
The airline will operate daily BLR-DPS flights as follows:
- 6E1605 departs from BLR at 00:05 and arrives at DPS at 10:20.
- 6E1606 departs from DPS at 11:20 and arrives at BLR at 15:15.
IndiGo is set to add its second destination in Indonesia, with the first being Jakarta, which is currently connected to Mumbai (BOM). The airline initiated flights to Jakarta on August 07, 2023.
Bengaluru – Bali flight now holds the distinction of being the longest narrowbody flight within IndiGo’s network.
