DELHI- According to the news agency PTI, an IndiGo Airlines (6E) aircraft bound for Ahmedabad (AMD) had to return to the Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in New Delhi on April 27 due to issues with its landing gear.
Flight 6E 129 landed safely at the Delhi airport around 2:40 pm IST, with approximately 170 passengers onboard reported as safe.

As of the report’s filing, the precise cause of the technical issue remained unclear.
However, a spokesperson for the private airline mentioned that the aircraft was undergoing inspection, and arrangements were made for an alternative flight for the passengers.
The airline stated in a release that an alternate aircraft was organized to transport the passengers to their destination.

“The airline stated that on February 17, 2024, a technical issue was identified shortly after take-off on Vistara (UK) flight UK531, which was en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad.
As a precautionary measure aligned with standard operating procedures, the pilots returned the aircraft to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, where it landed safely,” Vistara informed.
However, Vistara did not disclose the number of passengers onboard at the time.
