According to sources, Wadia-owned Go First (G8) Airlines is expected to resume operations by May 27. Pilots have been requested to participate in a ‘refresher course’ starting from Thursday.

A Go First flight G8911 operating from Ahmedabad to Chandigarh was diverted to Ahmedabad after a bird hit the plane on Thursday, said aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
“The windshield of a Go-Air flight between Delhi-Guwahati cracked mid-air. Due to poor weather, the aircraft did not return to Delhi and diverted safely to Jaipur,” a DGCA official was quoted as saying by the news agency.
