Star Air (S5), which is also a part of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group (SGG), has announced a strategic fleet expansion plan to reach a total of 25 aircraft within the next 36 months (i.e. by 2027).

Star Air has taken delivery of 4th Embraer E175 aircraft on March 13. This concludes the order for four 76-seater Embraer-jets taken on lease from Nordic Aviation Capital.

Star Air has received the first of four E175 family aircraft it has leased for the second half of 2022. On February 8, 2023, the airline made the announcement via its social media platforms.
Sanjay Ghodawat Group, Star Air’s parent business, intends to add four more aircraft to its fleet as part of its ambition to boost revenue from 250 crore in FY23 to 700 crore in FY24.
