MUMBAI- India’s leading inflight catering company, TajSATS, has signed a concession agreement with Noida International Airport (NIA) for the development of an in-flight kitchen facility.
Noida International Airport in Jewar is an upcoming greenfield airport that will improve connectivity to and from Delhi NCR, Noida, and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Noida Gets TajSATS In-Flight Kitchen
Mr. Manish Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of TajSATS, expressed his enthusiasm for the project and highlighted the significant growth potential in airline catering, especially with the addition of airports like Noida International Airport.
TajSATS, with its extensive network and market leadership, is committed to providing premium in-flight and lounge catering services, drawing from its four decades of experience. This agreement strengthens TajSATS’ presence in the Delhi NCR region, as it will be the second facility in the area.
Under the terms of the agreement, TajSATS will develop the In-Flight Kitchen facility using a design, finance, build, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) model for a 37-year period.
TajSATS’ responsibilities will encompass passenger and crew meal services, in-flight catering equipment handling, as well as meal loading and unloading.

Mr. Christoph Schnellmann, the Chief Executive Officer of Noida International Airport, expressed his satisfaction with TajSATS partnering to establish and manage an In-Flight Kitchen at the Noida International Airport. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in their efforts to create a modern, customer-focused culinary experience.
They recognize the importance of meals in delivering a distinguished in-flight and airport experience and believe TajSATS, with its extensive experience serving various airports, will complement their vision to offer a comprehensive world-class experience to passengers.
The state-of-the-art kitchen will be strategically situated within the airport, covering an area of 40,000 square feet and capable of preparing over 15,000 meals daily during the initial phase.
In addition to in-flight catering, the kitchen will also cater to lounge facilities and food and beverage outlets within the airport and its vicinity. With this addition, TajSATS will operate nine production facilities in India.
