In an official statement, the low-cost carrier explained that it has installed a new water faucet by which it has saved 12.42 liters of water per flight for an average length of 138 minutes. IndiGo now operates 1,500 daily flights with an average flight duration of 98 minutes.
IndiGo is in talks with three to four more global carriers for operational alliances and expects to have 12 in the next two to three years.
