7 IndiGo pilots were allegedly caught on a frequency intended for emergency calls using harsh language over compensation difficulties.

The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) recently concluded its audit of India’s aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), retaining India in Category 1. The US transportation watchdog conducts such checks every few years to assess whether aviation protocols are being adhered to.
DGCA grounded a SpiceJet plane after a passenger complained of unclean seats and defective interior panels.
The Indian aviation regulator, the DGCA, said that 1.06 crore domestic passengers flew in March, up 38 percent from 76.96 lakh in February.
DGCA has ruled that 90 SpiceJet pilots are unfit to fly the B 737 Max and has stopped them from flying until another round of training.
DGCA said that airlines must ensure that 50% of cockpit and cabin crew members are submitted to daily pre-flight alcohol tests.

The incident took place during a pushback when the aircraft was getting moved from the passenger terminal to the runway. As per reports, passengers were onboard during the incident, after which SpiceJet replaced the plane.
At 505 weekly flights, IndiGo will have the highest international departures on a standalone basis among all airlines, followed by Air India at 361, AI Express at 340, and Emirates at 170.
