DUBAI- Emirates (EK) will add four weekly flights between Dubai (DXB) and Accra (ACC) from 12 July 2026, lifting its total service to Ghana to 11 weekly flights. The expansion strengthens connectivity between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and West Africa.
The new flights will complement the airline’s existing daily operation to Accra (ACC), which records high seat occupancy throughout the year. Emirates (EK) will deploy the Boeing 777-300ER on the route, linking Ghana to global hubs such as Mumbai (BOM), Singapore (SIN), and New York (JFK) via Dubai (DXB).

Emirates Adds More Flights to Ghana
Emirates will operate the additional service as flights EK789 and EK790 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Here’s the flight schedule:

- The return flight, EK790, departs Accra at 10:25 hrs and arrives in Dubai at 22:40 hrs. All times are local.
The schedule connects travellers from Accra to key commercial and tourist hubs, including Beijing (PEK), Seoul (ICN), Sydney (SYD), Perth (PER), Mumbai (BOM), Singapore (SIN), New York (JFK), and Jeddah (JED).
The timing also gives passengers a convenient option to reach Accra via Dubai from points such as Delhi (DEL), Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), and gateways across Germany and the United Kingdom.
Passengers can book tickets through emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates retail offices, and travel agents both online and offline.

Cargo Growth Through Emirates SkyCargo

The freight division uses its cool chain infrastructure to carry high volumes of fresh-cut fruit from Ghana into European destinations such as Prague and Zurich.
Emirates SkyCargo also transports electronics, textiles, and pharmaceuticals on the route. The added bellyhold capacity in both directions will support the local economy and connect Ghanaian businesses with their global customers reliably and efficiently.
