DUBAI- Emirates Airline (EK) is expanding Premium Economy and upgrading aircraft across its global network to improve passenger experience and fleet consistency.
The rollout includes retrofitted A380s, upgraded Boeing 777s, and new Airbus A350 deployments across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

Emirates Premium Economy Routes
Emirates continues a large retrofit programme to standardize cabin offerings and introduce Premium Economy across more routes. The airline is reconfiguring aircraft while adding new-generation planes to strengthen long-haul travel options.
The first upgraded high-density two-class Airbus A380 will enter service by mid-April with a three-class configuration offering 76 Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats, and 437 Economy seats. The aircraft will serve the Dubai–Amman routes from 14 April before moving to Prague from 1 June.
By November, all 15 of Emirates’ two-class A380 aircraft are expected to complete conversion into three-class layouts, expanding Premium Economy availability across key markets.
Europe and North America Network Changes
Multiple European and North American cities will see upgraded aircraft deployment.
New York JFK flights EK201/202 will operate with retrofitted four-class A380 aircraft from 1 April on selected days before becoming daily from 1 June.
Zurich flights receive four-class A380 service from 1 March, delivering more than 1,500 weekly Premium Economy seats.
Milan will see Premium Economy added on Boeing 777-200LR aircraft from 10 May, while Dublin will gain full Premium Economy availability across all weekly flights starting 25 October.

Asia Route Upgrades
Emirates continues expanding Premium Economy services across Asia.
Ho Chi Minh City receives upgraded Boeing 777-200LR aircraft from 1 May, adding over 600 weekly Premium Economy seats.
Hong Kong services will shift from Boeing 777-300ER to A380 aircraft from 1 October, followed by Premium Economy-equipped A380 service from 1 December.
Guangzhou flights will also receive three-class A380 service from October.
Africa and Middle East Deployment Updates
Entebbe will receive Emirates’ new Airbus A350 aircraft starting 29 March.
Basra services will operate with retrofitted four-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from 1 May, bringing Premium Economy to all weekly services.
Indian Ocean Services Expansion
Mauritius routes will operate upgraded Boeing 777-200LR aircraft from late March, adding Premium Economy capacity to the destination.

Airbus A350 Debuts on Montréal Route
Emirates has introduced its Airbus A350 on Dubai–Montréal flights, marking the first deployment of the aircraft type within its Americas network.
The A350 replaces the Boeing 777 on flights EK243 and EK244, offering daily service with improved cabin comfort and Premium Economy availability. Montréal becomes the first destination in Emirates’ Americas network to host the new aircraft type.
Toronto continues to receive daily Airbus A380 service as Emirates’ second Canadian gateway.
Premium Economy Cabin Experience
Premium Economy offers wide leather seats with extended leg and footrests, adjustable headrests, large personal screens, and in-seat charging ports. Dining service includes upgraded meal presentations and premium beverage options.
Passengers access more than 6,500 entertainment channels in multiple languages through Emirates’ ice entertainment system.

Cabin Comfort Across All Classes
The Airbus A350 introduces quieter cabins, wider aisles, faster Wi-Fi, and improved lighting systems.
Business Class offers lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout with 4K entertainment screens and premium dining services. Economy Class provides generous seat spacing, updated fabrics, and individual 4K screens for all passengers.
The A350 carries 312 passengers in total, including Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.
Connectivity Beyond Canada
Through its codeshare partnership with Air Canada, Emirates passengers gain access to 37 additional destinations across Canada and the United States via Montréal and Toronto connections.
