NEW YORK- JetBlue (B6) unveiled an exciting collaboration with CIBC FirstCaribbean, the foremost Caribbean bank, and Mastercard, the global payments industry technology leader for new credit cards.
This partnership introduces two credit cards tailored for customers residing in the five Caribbean markets served by JetBlue. The freshly launched JetBlue Mastercard and JetBlue Select Mastercard by CIBC FirstCaribbean promise cardholders exclusive rewards.
JetBlue New Credit Cards
In November 2023, These Cards Will Be Available for the First Time to Residents in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Cayman Islands with Attractive Welcome Bonuses.

Chris Buckner, VP of Loyalty & Partnerships at JetBlue, expressed excitement about the collaboration with CIBC FirstCaribbean and Mastercard, stating that the JetBlue Mastercard and JetBlue Select Mastercard offer enhanced value and flexibility for customers to earn points with their everyday purchases, bringing them closer to their preferred destinations.
Mark St. Hill, CEO of CIBC FirstCaribbean, emphasized the significant partnership with JetBlue and Mastercard, highlighting the added value it brings to JetBlue TrueBlue loyalty members throughout the region.
Mastercard Expands Partnership
Jimena Elia, the Country Manager for the West & Dutch Caribbean markets at Mastercard, expressed her enthusiasm, stating,
“We are delighted to see our long-standing partnership with JetBlue expanding into the English Caribbean markets. Collaboratively, we have devised a suite of valuable solutions aimed at delivering a trusted, convenient, and reliable payment experience.”
The JetBlue Mastercard offered by CIBC FirstCaribbean comes with no annual fee and allows cardholders to accumulate points with every purchase. JetBlue-related transactions earn two TrueBlue points for every US$1 spent, while other purchases, such as groceries, dining, and fuel, accrue one point for every US$1 spent.
On the other hand, the JetBlue Select Mastercard, available through CIBC FirstCaribbean with a US$99 annual fee, offers cardholders the opportunity to earn four TrueBlue points for every US$1 spent on JetBlue purchases and one point for every US$1 spent on all other purchases.
This card also provides additional perks, including a complimentary checked bag for the cardholder and up to three travel companions when purchasing JetBlue-operated flights, along with a US$100 annual statement credit for JetBlue Vacations package purchases.
