Air India, a company owned by the Tata Group, published a tender on Wednesday to sell its three wide-bodied B777-200LR aircraft.

According to authorities, a 258-passenger Air India Dreamliner flight from Dubai to Kochi was diverted to Mumbai after the captain reported “loss of pressure.”

The aviation safety regulator told that the matter is “of serious concern and unacceptable”. “After going through Air India submissions, as part of enforcement action, the competent authority has levied a fine of Rs 10 Lakh. In addition, the airline has been advised to directly put the systems in place to resolve the issue failing which further action shall be taken by DGCA,” the aviation watchdog told in a report.
