ATLANTA- Delta Air Lines (DL) has once again been recognized among the world’s top employers, securing the No. 2 position in the Forbes World’s Best Employers 2025 list.
The airline climbed four places from its previous ranking, reaffirming its commitment to creating a supportive, transparent, and employee-focused workplace culture.

Delta World’s 2nd Best Employer
Among 900 global companies featured, Delta was spotlighted for its strong emphasis on employee engagement, open communication, and responsive management.
The carrier’s “open-door policy” enables direct dialogue between employees and senior leadership through in-person meetings or emails.
This approach has been instrumental in shaping internal initiatives that address employee needs and foster a more inclusive corporate environment.
One notable outcome was the introduction of the Emergency Savings Program in 2023, developed in response to staff feedback. The initiative has seen more than 40,000 employees participate, strengthening financial wellness across the organization.
Additionally, the airline expanded flexibility in its employee travel privileges, allowing team members to include an additional companion under its pass travel program.

Recognition across the U.S.
In August 2025, Forbes also named Delta among America’s Best Employers, recognizing it as the top employer in Georgia, Michigan, and Utah. The recognition aligns with Delta’s efforts to foster local engagement and career development opportunities within its diverse workforce.
Delta’s leadership team regularly conducts market visits, providing business updates and addressing staff questions directly.
This consistent communication model has become a hallmark of the airline’s internal culture, reinforcing transparency and trust between management and employees.

How Forbes Ranks Companies?
The Forbes World’s Best Employers list, now in its ninth edition, was compiled in collaboration with market research firm Statista.
The 2025 survey gathered insights from over 300,000 employees across 50 countries working for multinational corporations employing more than 1,000 people.
Participants evaluated companies based on factors such as compensation, workplace environment, professional growth, and flexibility. Respondents were also asked whether they would recommend their employer to friends and family.
The final ranking combined current employee responses with data from the past three years, giving higher weight to recent feedback. This year’s list featured 850 companies representing 48 countries.

Bottom Line
By maintaining open communication, listening to its staff, and introducing policies that reflect real needs, the carrier continues to set benchmarks for corporate culture within the aviation industry.
As Delta strengthens its people-first strategy, its consistent rise in global employer rankings reaffirms its leadership in both customer service and employee engagement.
