DUBLIN- Ryanair (FR), the leading airline in Ireland, has unveiled its Winter 2023/2024 schedule for Cork Airport (ORK), featuring 23 routes. This includes the exciting addition of five new routes to Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Paris, Seville, and Treviso.

Strong Recovery
As Cork’s leading airline, Ryanair operates 23 routes and serves 2.3 million passengers annually to and from Cork Airport.
This expansion, with a remarkable 15% growth compared to the previous fiscal year, is backed by Ryanair’s significant $300 million investment, which includes stationing 3 aircraft at the airport.
Additionally, this investment has facilitated the establishment of over 90 high-paying crew and engineering jobs. Cork Airport has contributed to this growth by maintaining competitive airport charges, providing airlines like Ryanair with cost predictability, enabling them to invest and thrive in the region.
Ryanair has played a pivotal role in Europe’s post-Covid recovery, surpassing pre-pandemic levels by operating at 130% capacity.
Following Ryanair’s sustained growth and investment, Cork Airport is expected to fully recover its pre-Covid passenger numbers this year, two years ahead of initial projections.
Ryanair’s increased traffic to and from Cork Airport substantially positively impacts Cork, the broader Munster region, and South-Leinster areas, contributing to inbound tourism, job creation, and local businesses, particularly during the off-peak Winter season.
Further, to celebrate the introduction of a new aircraft and the launch of 5 new routes at Cork Airport for Winter, Ryanair has initiated a 2-day seat sale with fares starting from €24.99, available exclusively on the Ryanair website and app.
