SAN FRANCISCO- In light of its recent expansion of daily flights on the Los Angeles-Taipei route, STARLUX Airlines (JX), a high-end Taiwanese airline, has revealed plans to introduce its second North American destination.
Commencing on December 16, the airline will offer flights between San Francisco (SFO) and Taipei (TPE), initially operating three times a week. The service frequency for the SFO-TPE route is projected to increase daily starting from March of the following year.

“San Francisco, being in close proximity to Silicon Valley and serving as a prominent political, economic, and tourism hub, has emerged as a top travel destination. Furthermore, with one-third of its population having Asian heritage, our new route will cater to the needs of travelers visiting family, vacationing, or traveling for business. STARLUX is committed to ongoing expansion and is planning to launch a new route to Seattle next year.”

STARLUX Airlines has joined forces with Sony, a prominent player in the audiovisual industry, to mark the occasion.
Starting from December 16th until December 31st, all First-Class passengers traveling from Taipei to San Francisco will receive a complimentary pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless noise-canceling headphones as part of the grand opening celebration.

STARLUX strongly emphasizes providing a “Home in the Air” experience, ensuring comfortable seating across all four cabin classes. First and Business Class feature individual sliding doors and seats with Zero-G mode to alleviate travel fatigue.
Premium Economy offers spacious seats with footrests, allowing passengers to stretch comfortably during their journey.
In Economy Class, passengers can enjoy 4K high-definition screens and the option to connect their personal Bluetooth headphones, making long-haul flights more enjoyable.
STARLUX Airlines has opened ticket reservations for flights departing on or after December 16, 2023.
The San Francisco to Taipei flights are scheduled to depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 23:40 hours, while the Taipei to San Francisco flights will operate on the same days, departing at 23:30 hours.
