In answer to gradually rising COVID-19 cases, Saudi Arabia has banned citizens from traveling to 16 countries across Asia, Africa, and South America.

The flight operated by flyadeal, a budget subsidiary of flag carrier Saudia, was from the capital Riyadh to the Red Sea coastal city of Jeddah.

Sixteen people, including foreign nationals, have been injured after the drone, told to have been established from Sanaa airport, was destroyed.
