Cathay Cargo (CX) has become the first international airline to confirm the temporary relocation of its dedicated freighter operations from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI), with the transition scheduled to begin on August 3.

Security measures were heightened in and around Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai following an anonymous bomb threat call on Saturday evening, which alerted authorities to a potential bomb in Terminal 2 (T2), serving both international and domestic flights.
