Airport Authority of India

The Airports Authority of India has completed the tender process for 11 new Flying Training Organisation slots at seven of its airports. The expansion is projected to add up to 120 training aircraft and lift annual output to about 1,500 aviation professionals, as India works to meet a requirement of over 30,000 additional pilots in the next decade.

PM Narendra Modi is all set for his Bihar-Jharkhand visit on Tuesday and he will unveil developmental projects of more than ₹16,800 crores in Deoghar, including the inauguration of an airport, for which the Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone in Jharkhand on May 25, 2018. Notably, the Deoghar airport will be the second international airport in Jharkhand after Ranchi.
