Jewar Airport AISATS Signs Rs 4,458 Crore MoU
Under the MoU, AISATS will establish two major facilities at the airport. These include an integrated cargo campus and a world-class air catering kitchen.
The projects are part of the broader strategy to strengthen aviation-linked services in the state.
Officials stated that the integrated cargo campus is expected to position Jewar as a major air freight and logistics hub for northern India.
The facility will facilitate export and import activities across sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products.
The development will leverage the airport’s planned multi-modal connectivity to strengthen international trade linkages. The infrastructure will support efficient cargo movement once the airport becomes operational.
According to Economic Times, the agreement represents a significant private sector commitment aligned with the state’s infrastructure expansion plans.
The cargo campus will function as a centralized air freight handling facility within the airport premises. It is expected to support businesses engaged in domestic and international trade.
Officials noted that the campus will enhance north India’s logistics capacity and improve trade facilitation.
By providing dedicated cargo infrastructure, the project aims to support growing export demand from key industrial sectors.
The facility will contribute to the aviation and logistics sectors by improving operational readiness when the airport begins commercial services.

Air Catering Unit for Regional Airports
AISATS will also develop a modern air catering unit at Jewar. The facility will supply in-flight meals for flights operating from the airport.
Officials stated that the catering unit will also serve multiple airports across northern India. This expansion will strengthen the regional food processing and supply chain ecosystem.
The project will generate significant direct and indirect employment opportunities in aviation support services and allied sectors.
