ATLANTA- Delta Air Lines (DL) is accelerating investment in its Delta Sky Club network, with a major lounge expansion at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and refreshed facilities at its Atlanta hub. The upgrades focus on capacity, comfort, and smoother passenger flow.
The airline continues to build on recent lounge openings and expansions, reinforcing Sky Clubs as a core part of the Delta premium ground experience for frequent flyers and SkyMiles members.

Delta Sky Club to Philadelphia and Atlanta
Delta Air Lines is prioritizing lounge improvements at high-traffic airports where customer demand continues to rise. Recent investments reflect a clear shift toward larger spaces, improved layouts, and amenities that support work, dining, and relaxation.
These upgrades follow a strong year for the Sky Club network, which included new lounges at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), along with expanded facilities in Orlando International Airport (MCO).
The latest phase focuses on enhancing existing clubs in Philadelphia and Atlanta to serve growing passenger volumes better better.

Philadelphia Sky Club Doubles Seating Capacity
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) now features a significantly upgraded Delta Sky Club designed to handle higher demand while offering a more refined environment. The renovation has more than doubled seating capacity, increasing from around 70 seats to over 140.
The redesigned lounge introduces updated furniture, new carpeting, and regionally inspired artwork that reflects the character of Philadelphia.
Restrooms have been modernized, and the buffet area has been expanded to improve capacity and traffic flow during peak hours. The result is a more open, intuitive space that balances comfort with efficiency.

Atlanta Sky Clubs Receive Capacity and Design Upgrades
At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Delta’s largest hub, three Sky Clubs have been refreshed to improve both functionality and atmosphere.
The A17, A Centerpoint, and C37 lounges have undergone renovations aimed at serving more guests without compromising comfort.
Key upgrades include new seating and flooring, refreshed food and beverage areas, and redesigned check-in zones with repositioned kiosks to reduce entry congestion.
New art installations inspired by well-known Atlanta landmarks add a local identity to each space. Together, these improvements have increased seating capacity across the three lounges by approximately 15 percent.

Upcoming Delta Sky Club Openings and Expansions
Delta’s lounge expansion strategy extends well beyond current projects, with several major developments already planned.
At Atlanta (ATL), Concourse F will see a lobby renovation later this year, with additional enhancements scheduled in the coming years.
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) will receive a relocated and fully renovated Sky Club in early 2027, expanding to roughly 10,000 square feet and tripling its current size.
Tampa International Airport (TPA) is set to welcome a newly expanded Sky Club in the New Airside D in 2028.
Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) will join the network with its first-ever Delta Sky Club by 2029. These projects underscore Delta’s long-term commitment to strengthening its premium ground product.
