Air India Makes New Changes to London and Copenhagen Flights

GURUGRAM- In the recent schedule update, Air India (AI) made additional changes to its European operations for the upcoming Northern Winter 2023/24 season, with the following adjustments taking effect from mid-December 2023.

Air India operates 48 non-stop flights each week, connecting Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM) to these five European destinations [Copenhagen (Denmark), London Heathrow (UK), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), and Vienna (Austria)].

These adjustments provide an overview of Air India’s modified flight schedules for these routes during the upcoming winter season.

1. Delhi – Copenhagen: The frequency of flights will increase from 3 to 4 per week, using the Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
   • Flight AI157 from Delhi (DEL) to Copenhagen (CPH) departs at 1405 and arrives at 1750 using the 787-8 aircraft. This flight operates on days 124 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday).
   • Flight AI158 from Copenhagen (CPH) to Delhi (DEL) departs at 1950, arrives at 0730 on the following day, and uses the 787-8 aircraft. This flight also operates on days 124.
2. Delhi – London Heathrow: Effective from December 16, 2023, flights AI111/112 will see a change from the previously scheduled 787-8 to 777-200LR/-300ER aircraft. The flight schedule is as follows:
   • Flight AI161 from Delhi (DEL) to London Heathrow (LHR) departs at 0245 and arrives at 0635, utilizing the 787-8 aircraft. This flight operates daily.
   • Flight AI111 from Delhi (DEL) to London Heathrow (LHR) departs at 0730 and arrives at 1130, using the 777-200LR/77W aircraft on days 5.
   • Flight AI111 from Delhi (DEL) to London Heathrow (LHR) also departs at 0740 and arrives at 1130, but uses the 777-200LR/77L aircraft on days 3.
   • On days 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7, Flight AI111 from Delhi (DEL) to London Heathrow (LHR) also departs at 0740 and arrives at 1130, using the 777-200LR/77W aircraft.
   • Flight AI165 from Delhi (DEL) to London Heathrow (LHR) departs at 1410 and arrives at 1800, operating with the 787-8 aircraft on days 246.

For return flights:

• Flight AI162 from London Heathrow (LHR) to Delhi (DEL) departs at 0845 and arrives at 2230, using the 787-8 aircraft. This flight operates daily.
• On days 3, Flight AI112 from London Heathrow (LHR) to Delhi (DEL) departs at 1330 and arrives at 0315 on the following day, utilizing the 777-200LR/77L aircraft.
• On days 1, 2, and 4, Flight AI112 from London Heathrow (LHR) to Delhi (DEL) departs at 1330 and arrives at 0315 on the following day, using the 777-200LR/77W aircraft.
• Flight AI166 from London Heathrow (LHR) to Delhi (DEL) departs at 1945 and arrives at 0925 on the following day, operating with the 787-8 aircraft on days 246.
