FORT WORTH- As of October 29, 2023, here is a summary of American Airlines (AA) adjustments to its international network for the upcoming Northern winter season of 2023/24. Please note that this update does not cover service to The Caribbean and Central America.
As of September 2023, American Airlines provides service to over 350 destinations across more than 60 countries.

American Airlines International Schedule
- Boston – London Heathrow: Service suspended from February 8, 2024, to February 27, 2024 (previously scheduled from February 21, 2024, to February 27, 2024).
- Charlotte – Dublin: Seasonal service resumes on March 5, 2024, with 1 daily flight using a 777-200ER.
- Charlotte – Frankfurt: Service suspended from January 17, 2024, to January 30, 2024.
- Charlotte – London Heathrow: Maintaining a 3rd daily 777-200ER service, except for the periods of November 20, 2023, to November 24, 2023, and January 24, 2024, to January 31, 2024.
- Charlotte – Madrid: Service extended to year-round, offering 1 daily 777-200ER.
- Charlotte – Munich: Service suspended from January 31, 2024, to February 13, 2024.
- Chicago O’Hare – London Heathrow: Reduced to 1 daily flight during the period from January 31, 2024, to February 27, 2024 (previously scheduled from February 4, 2024, to February 14, 2024).
- Chicago O’Hare – Paris CDG: Service suspended from January 8, 2024, to March 30, 2024.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Barcelona: Scheduled for 1 daily 787-9 from February 23, 2024, to March 2, 2024, during the Mobile World Congress.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Beijing Daxing: Service remains canceled.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Buenos Aires: Starting from October 29, 2023, a 787-9 replaces the -8, with 1 daily flight (previously a 787-9 from October 29, 2023, to December 20, 2023, and 777-200ER from December 21, 2023, to February 13, 2024, and back to 787-9 from February 14, 2024).
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Frankfurt: Starting from October 29, 2023, a 787-9 replaces the 787-8 with 1 daily flight (previously, the 777-200ER replaced the 787-8).
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Dublin: Service extends year-round, with 1 daily 787-8.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Madrid: Starting October 29, 2023, maintaining 1 daily 787-9 service, replacing the previously filed -8.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Paris CDG: A 787-9 replaces the -8 during the following period, with 1 daily flight: from October 29, 2023, to December 4, 2023, and from December 19, 2023, to January 7, 2024 (previously, from October 29, 2023, to December 20, 2023, by 787-9 and from December 21, 2023, to January 7, 2024, by 777-200ER).
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Rome Fiumicino: Service extends year-round, with 1 daily 787-8. Service was suspended from January 8, 2024, to February 14, 2024.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Seoul Incheon: Starting October 29, 2023, maintaining 1 daily 787-9 service, replacing the previously filed -8.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Shanghai Pu Dong: Starting from October 30, 2023, maintaining 4 weekly 787-8 service, with a tentative schedule of 1 daily flight from January 8, 2024.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Tokyo Haneda: Starting from October 29, 2023, maintaining 1 daily 787-8 service, replacing the previously filed -9.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth – Tokyo Narita: Starting from October 29, 2023, maintaining 1 daily 787-8 service, replacing the previously filed -9.
- Los Angeles – Auckland: From December 20, 2023, to March 3, 2024, the service resumes, with 1 daily 787-9 (increased to 3 weekly from February 16, 2024).
- Los Angeles – London Heathrow: Starting from October 29, 2023, AA136/135 will have a 777-200ER instead of a -300ER. Maintaining 20 weekly flights instead of the originally filed 14, except during the periods of January 22, 2024, to February 27, 2024 (previously, January 22, 2024, to January 28, 2024, and February 8, 2024, to February 14, 2024).
- Los Angeles – Tokyo Haneda: Maintains 2 daily 787-8 services, replacing the previously planned -9.
- Phoenix – London Heathrow: The service is suspended from February 20, 2024, to February 26, 2024.

Changes From Miami
- Miami – Barcelona: From February 22, 2024, to March 2, 2024, the service uses a 777-200ER instead of a 787-8 during the Mobile World Congress, with 1 daily flight.
- Miami – Buenos Aires Ezeiza: Starting from October 29, 2023, there is an increase from 14 to 17 weekly flights (21 weekly from December 22, 2023, onward). From October 29, 2023, there is 1 daily 777-300ER and 2 daily 787-8 flights (previously, it was 1 daily 777-200ER and 2 daily 787-8).
- Miami – Cali: From October 29, 2023, to November 15, 2023, there’s a reduction from 2 to 1 daily flight.
- Miami – Cartagena: Starting from December 5, 2023, there is an increase from 2 to 3 daily flights, operated by 737-800/MAX 8 aircraft.
- Miami – London Heathrow: Reduced to 1 daily flight during the periods of January 15, 2024, to January 21, 2024, and February 10, 2024, to February 15, 2024.
- Miami – Madrid: From October 29, 2023, to March 3, 2024, there is 1 daily 777-200ER service, replacing the 787-8 (previously, the 777 operated from October 29, 2023, to December 20, 2023, and from February 14, 2024, to March 3, 2024).
- Miami – Medellin: From November 5, 2023, to November 15, 2023, there’s a reduction from 3 to 2 daily flights.
- Miami – Paris CDG: Resumes with 1 daily 777-200ER service from October 28, 2023, instead of the previously planned 787-8. Also, from February 22, 2024, to March 2, 2024, a 787-8 replaces the 777-200ER.
- Miami – Pereira: From November 5, 2023, to November 15, 2023, there’s a reduction from 7 to 5 weekly flights.
- Miami – Rio de Janeiro Galeao: From December 5, 2023, to February 29, 2024, there’s an increase from 7 to 10 weekly flights using 777-200ER aircraft (14 weekly from December 21, 2023, 11 from January 7, 2024, and 10 from January 15, 2024). Starting from January 9, 2024, an additional 3 weekly flights will be serviced by a 787-8 instead of the 777-200ER.
- Miami – Santiago de Chile: A 777-200ER replaces the 787-8 during the following periods, with 1 daily flight: from October 29, 2023, to January 7, 2024, and from February 15, 2024, to March 4, 2024.
- Miami – Sao Paulo Guarulhos: From December 21, 2023, to January 7, 2024, a 3rd daily flight is operated by a 777-200ER.

New York Route Update
- New York JFK – Barcelona:
- From January 15, 2024, to February 11, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 5 weekly flights (4 from January 29, 2024) using 777-200ER aircraft.
- From February 22, 2024, to March 2, 2024, a 777-300ER replaces the -200ER during the Mobile World Congress, with 1 daily flight.
- New York JFK – Buenos Aires Ezeiza: From December 5, 2023, to February 13, 2024, there is an increase from 7 to 10 weekly flights, all operated by 777-200ER.
- New York JFK – Doha: Starting from October 29, 2023, the 1 daily 777-300ER service is canceled.
- New York JFK – London Heathrow:
- From January 3, 2024, to February 27, 2024, there is a reduction from 27 to 20 weekly flights (14 weekly from January 26, 2024, to February 21, 2024). Previously, 27 weekly flights were maintained from January 8, 2024, to February 14, 2024.
- From January 8, 2024, to March 29, 2024, AA104/107 will have a 777-200ER instead of a -300ER.
- New York JFK – Madrid: From January 22, 2024, to February 4, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 5 weekly flights, all operated by 777-200ER.
- New York JFK – Milan Malpensa: From January 21, 2024, to February 3, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 4 weekly flights, all operated by 777-200ER.
- New York JFK – Paris CDG: From January 28, 2024, to February 12, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 4 weekly flights, all operated by 777-200ER.
- New York JFK – Rio de Janeiro Galeao: From December 21, 2023, to January 7, 2024, there is an increase from 3 to 7 weekly flights, all operated by 777-200ER.
- New York JFK – Tel Aviv: Service is tentatively set to resume on January 8, 2024, at the earliest, with 1 daily 777-200ER. Further changes are likely.

Changes from Philadelphia and Seattle
- Philadelphia – Amsterdam:
- From November 14, 2023, to January 7, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 6 weekly flights, all operated by 787-8 (except from December 5, 2023, to December 17, 2023).
- From January 8, 2024, to February 14, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 5 weekly flights, all operated by 787-8 (previously, there was a reduction from 7 to 6 weekly from January 11, 2024, to February 14, 2024).
- Philadelphia – Barcelona: Service extends year-round, with 1 daily 787-8. The service is suspended from January 8, 2024, to February 14, 2024.
- Philadelphia – Doha: Starting from October 28, 2023, there is a new route with 1 daily 787-9, replacing the previous service from New York.
- Philadelphia – Lisbon: Service extends to year-round, with 1 daily 787-8.
- Philadelphia – Madrid: From January 22, 2024, to February 11, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 4 weekly flights, all operated by 787-8.
- Philadelphia – Paris CDG: The service is suspended from January 15, 2024, to January 28, 2024.
- Philadelphia – Rome Fiumicino: From January 15, 2024, to February 11, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 4 weekly flights, all operated by 787-8. Previously, 1 daily flight was maintained from January 26, 2024, to February 22, 2024.
- Philadelphia – Zurich: From January 23, 2024, to February 15, 2024, there is a reduction from 7 to 4 weekly flights, all operated by 787-8.
- Seattle – London Heathrow: From October 28, 2023, to March 29, 2024, the 1 daily service is canceled during the Northern winter season of 2023/24.
- Seattle – Shanghai Pu Dong: The planned service remains canceled.
