MUMBAI- Vistara (UK) Airlines, a Tata-owned Indian full-service carrier, is expanding its presence in Germany by announcing a new flight route from Mumbai to Frankfurt.
The airline already operates a Delhi-Frankfurt service and has recently added three additional Boeing 787 Dreamliners to its fleet, enabling it to expand its long-haul network to Europe.
Vistara Announces Mumbai to Frankfurt Flights
Starting from November 15th, Vistara will offer flights between Mumbai (BOM) and Frankfurt (FRA), marking its second route to the German city alongside its Delhi-Frankfurt service.
The airline will utilize its Boeing 787 Dreamliner for this route, providing passengers with a three-class cabin configuration that includes business class, premium economy, and economy class.
Vinod Kannan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vistara, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion, saying,
“We are excited to enhance our international network with the introduction of this new service connecting Mumbai and Frankfurt. Our long-haul routes, linking Delhi with London Heathrow, Paris, and Frankfurt, have been well-received by our customers. This positive response has given us the confidence to offer similar connections from Mumbai. In addition to our existing 5x weekly flights to London Heathrow, this will be our second long-haul route from Mumbai. We hope our customers will appreciate the option of flying with India’s premier airline on this route.”
Vistara’s Mumbai to Frankfurt service will operate six times a week, commencing on November 15th, with the following flight schedule:

Milestone: 300 Daily Flights
TATA SIA Vistara (UK) Airlines has increased its daily flight operations to 300 daily flights starting this month. Deepak Rajawat, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, confirmed this development, noting that it marks a significant expansion in their operations.
Prior to this, Vistara was operating approximately 270 flights per day.
Rajawat mentioned to FE that Vistara has been experiencing consistent demand across its network during the July-September quarter. This period is typically considered a weaker season for domestic travel, making the airline’s performance noteworthy.
Vistara has been experiencing consistent demand across its international network, particularly on its long-haul routes. Further, it has maintained steady traffic on domestic routes covering major cities and leisure destinations.
