DELHI- TATA Group-owned Vistara (UK) has announced its plan to launch daily non-stop flights between Delhi (DEL) and Hong Kong (HKG), commencing on October 29.
These flights will be operated using the airline’s Airbus A321neo aircraft, which offers a three-class configuration. Bookings for these flights are gradually becoming available through all booking channels, including travel agencies.
Vistara Announces Delhi to Hong Kong Flights
Vinod Kannan, the CEO of Vistara, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to incorporate Hong Kong into our rapidly expanding global network. Hong Kong is renowned as one of the world’s foremost financial and commercial centres, consistently attracting significant corporate travel from India. It has also been a highly favoured destination among Indian tourists. By introducing Hong Kong as a destination, we now provide our passengers with direct connectivity to and from three of the world’s leading financial hubs, the others being London and Singapore.”
The airline will welcome all eligible travellers who meet the visa and entry requirements established by the respective government authorities in both countries.
According to airline officials, Vistara strongly advises its customers to thoroughly familiarize themselves with these guidelines before making their travel arrangements.
IndiGo Restarts DEL-HKG Flights
IndiGo (6E), a subsidiary of InterGlobe Aviation, announced on August 23 the resumption of nonstop flights connecting New Delhi (DEL) and Hong Kong (HKG).
This route enhances the connections between these two vibrant cities. Further, it highlights the crucial role of Hong Kong as a pivotal business and travel hub in the Asia-Pacific region. Scheduled to launch on October 5, the daily direct flights are set to begin operations.
Hong Kong, often called the ‘Pearl of the Orient,’ is a lively Chinese special administrative region. Renowned for its nightlife, shopping opportunities, and diverse culinary scene, it also serves as a thriving business centre, attracting entrepreneurs from around the world.
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, expressed,
“We are thrilled to reintroduce our daily nonstop flights connecting Delhi and Hong Kong, commencing this October. In recent months, the Asia-Pacific region has observed a remarkable resurgence in air travel demand and passenger traffic, indicating a dynamic rebound.”
