LONDON- The flag carrier of UAE, Emirates (EK) Airlines flight from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to London Gatwick Airport (LGW) has made an emergency landing at Munich (MUC).
The exact reason for this emergency is unknown, but it looks like it’s due to medical-related issues. The flight is again airborne at the time of writing of this article.
Emirates Dubai to London Flight Emergency
Now, let us establish a flight timeline with the help of FlightRadar24 (FR24) data.
According to FR24, the Emirates flight EK15 took off from Dubai (DXB) with a delay of 50 minutes at around 4:49 AM UTC. After being airborne for almost five hours and 30 minutes, the flight made a U-Turn.
The flight was flying near Numberberg in Germany, and due to some issues, it decided to make an emergency landing at Munich (MUC). It landed safely at MUC at around 10:47 AM UTC.
The aircraft landed, and there were no firefighting vehicles in the convoy, so it looked like some minor technical issues or medical emergencies.
The aircraft remained on the ground for more than two hours. It took off again from MUC at 1:06 PM UTC and is currently airborne and is about to leave German airspace at 1:50 PM UTC.
The aircraft involved in the incident is Airbus A380, registered as A6-EOZ. Further, it is around seven years and seven months old aircraft.

According to FR24, Emirates flight EK362 took off from Dubai International Airport (DXB) at around 7:08 AM UTC. The flight crew reported an in-flight medical emergency after being airborne for almost two hours and 30 minutes.
The flight landed safely in Delhi at around 10:33 AM UTC, almost after three hours and 25 minutes from departure.
The incident took place on September 8, 2023, and the aircraft involved in this incident was Airbus A380-861. Further, it has the registration A6-EEE and is around 11 years old aircraft.
The flight departed again after remaining on the ground for more than two hours. After around four hours and 30 minutes, it landed safely at Guangzhou (CAN), China.
