ATLANTA- Delta Air Lines (DL) is set to introduce a new route connecting Minneapolis Saint Paul (MSP) to Dublin (DUB), Ireland.
This new route, scheduled to commence operations on May 9, 2024, and operating five times a week, will expand Delta’s offerings to include seasonal travel to the Emerald Isle from three key U.S. hubs – Atlanta, Boston, Minneapolis – in addition to the existing year-round service from New York-JFK.

Delta Dubin Minneapolis Route

Delta stands as the premier global airline at MSP, maintaining a robust presence with over 330 flights during peak days to 120 diverse destinations around the world.
Subsequently, the airline offers connectivity across the globe, linking cities like Amsterdam, Cancun, Mexico, Paris, Keflavik, Iceland, London, Montréal, Vancouver, Canada, and more.
Delta is the sole carrier offering nonstop connections between MSP and Asia, with daily service to Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo-Haneda.
Rick King, Chair of the Metropolitan Airports Commission overseeing MSP, remarked,
‘Travelers from MSP are actively seeking enhanced air connectivity to European destinations, making Delta’s addition of direct service to Dublin in the coming year a welcome development. This route holds significance for both leisure and business travelers, aligning with the anticipated ongoing international demand throughout 2024 and beyond.’

Sky Club at MSP
Delta remains committed to enhancing its Minneapolis hub’s contemporary and user-friendly airport facilities.
Earlier this year, the airline revealed its third and most spacious Delta Sky Club at MSP. Subsequently, offering accommodations for over 450 visitors. Notably, the club includes an innovative Sky Deck, the first of its kind.
Furthermore, Delta is collaborating with the Metropolitan Airports Commission to undertake a substantial modernization endeavor for the G concourse.
This endeavor involves a significant investment of $47 million, dedicated to installing new terrazzo flooring, revitalized ceilings, lighting fixtures, upgraded digital signage, and more. The scheduled completion of this ambitious project is expected by the conclusion of 2025.
In-Flight Service
Delta’s flight between Minneapolis and Dublin will be operated using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, providing a range of seating options. This includes Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and the Main Cabin.
Passengers in Delta One will have the luxury of reclining in lie-flat seats, accompanied by a selection of upscale amenities such as custom-made Someone Somewhere amenity kits, plush bedding crafted from recycled materials, expanded pre-takeoff beverage choices, chef-designed meals, and indulgent desserts like personalized ice cream sundaes.
A more spacious environment awaits those traveling in Delta Premium Select, with wider seats featuring deeper recline, adjustable footrests, and leg rests.

Across all cabins, passengers can enjoy individual seat-back screens offering hours of complimentary premium entertainment via Delta Studio.
Additionally, there’s access to in-seat power, the option to purchase high-speed Wi-Fi, and free mobile messaging via popular platforms such as iMessage, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger.
