British Airways and VisitBritain have collaborated to offer visitors a royal welcome as they arrive in the United Kingdom for a weekend of celebrations.
A 47m by 64m mural has been painted on the London Heathrow flight path in Thornbury Park, Hounslow, featuring flowers designed by children at Fun Fest Hounslow.

The artwork can be seen on the right-hand side of the aircraft by customers landing on London Heathrow runway 27L. The young artists, sisters Jasmine Prajapati and Raya Prajapati, aged 9 and 12, drew the designs with the theme of “a natural world.” Further, it aligns with the King’s passion and is a key feature of the King’s Coronation emblem.
As the Coronation of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort is being celebrated by Britain and the Commonwealth this weekend. Further, British Airways has planned to celebrate the occasion with its customers and colleagues both in-flight and on the ground.

On May 5, British Airways flight BA059 from Heathrow to Cape Town. Further, A Commonwealth member state will be crewed by colleagues with variants of the names Charles and Camilla.
The airline will also offer lounge access to customers with surnames ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ traveling from Gatwick and Heathrow.
At 35,000 feet, the airline will serve Joe&Seph’s Eton Mess bespoke popcorn designed exclusively for British Airways and Coronation-themed desserts created in collaboration with its caterers.
The desserts include a bespoke lemon and white chocolate Coronation tart, an afternoon tea with a trio of royal desserts, and a lemon and white chocolate mousse topped with a chocolate crown inspired by King Charles’ love of lemon cream. Customers can also watch a live stream of the Coronation on board.
