On Tuesday, a GMR Goa International Airport Ltd (GGIAL) official said the recently built Manohar Airport had added eight destinations to its list. Further, Manohar International Airport will now link Goa to a total of 21 domestic locations across the country, including eight more locations.
The airport in Mopa was opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December of last year and is named after the former Goa chief minister and former Union defense minister Manohar Parrikar.

Goa Manohar Airport Adds New Destinations
Amritsar, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Manchi, Rajkot, Visakhapatnam, and Lucknow are among the 8 new locations added to the summer 2023 itinerary.
There are already connections from Manohar International Airport to Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Nashik, Jaipur, Chennai, Nagpur, Varanasi, and Chandigarh. Meanwhile, Vistara will connect Lucknow with 7 new locations. Furthermore, Indigo will add the remaining one.
Manohar International Airport has experienced tremendous growth in the recent three months. Subsequently, Five thousand air traffic movements (flights). Further, almost 7 lakh passengers passed through the airport during the most recent quarter.
