Air India introduced refreshed in-flight food and beverage menus across cabins on all international flights (ex-India) on Monday, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience.
According to the company, the menu refresh is based on guest feedback and is intended to offer travellers a variety of gourmet meals, trendy appetisers, decadent desserts, and showcase India’s locally sourced culinary influence while staying in line with the healthy eating trend.
The airline’s bar menu now includes a variety of premium spirits as well as a carefully curated wine list that includes fine French and Italian wines.
“We have put a lot of thought and energy into our new menus as part of our ongoing effort to improve the Air India experience for guests. We want our passengers to enjoy their food and beverages on Air India flights in the same way they would at their favourite restaurants.”said Sandeep Verma, Air India’s Head of Inflight Services
“While designing the new menus, our underlying focus has been on ensuring that they include nutritious options that are delicious, as well as incorporating contemporary, sustainable practises,” he added.
To create an elevated dining experience aboard Air India, a team of in-house experts, catering partners, and multiple suppliers was assembled.
