Why IndiGo Technicians are on Mass Sick Leave?

Technicians told us that the main reason for this protest is they want Salary Hike.
One technician said there is hardly any Increment in Salary from the past 3-4 Years.
Also, they said they have been working for the same salary after Promotion from Junior technician to Aircraft Technician.
Talking About Numbers, the starting salary at the Indigo airlines trainee technician post is 8,000, and it will remain the same for almost 18 months.
Also, Aircraft Technicians (AT) receive only 20,000 per month and hardly get an increment in years.
Some said there is an increment in a few hundred despite promotion from lower to higher post.
Highly Qualified and Professional Technicians deserve more than the current pay.
Support For Aircraft Technicians
Many Professionals from different airlines and MROs are in support of such brave technicians,
They have shown their support on Social Media Platforms,
Also, Former Spicejet Technician on its Instagram page posted this Heartbreaking Image,

IndiGo Threatened Technicians
IndiGo Management has warned aircraft Technicians of firing if they continued such sick leave.

Technicians are in fear and only want that their demands are fulfilled.
They have been forced to work extra hours and more workload for each technician.
Also Indigo is compromising safety standards by releasing aircraft with less manpower
We Stand with Technicians
The IndiGo must talk with Technicians and solve their issues by raising base pay and reducing workload.
There is not a shortage of manpower and that’s why such airlines exploit such qualified professionals.
We stand together with Such Brave and qualified technicians for better pay, work schedule, and a Safe Environment.
If we didn’t raise our voice against this unfair treatment then corporations will continue such exploitations.
We request all Aviation professionals to tweet about this issue, share this news and support our brave technicians.
