Tata-owned Air India (AI) Group is aiming to enhance regional connectivity in country amid demand from tier 2 and 3 cities.
Under the UDAN scheme, nine airports in Maharashtra earmarked for revival and operation include Kolhapur, Jalgaon, Solapur, Amravati, Nanded, Nasik, Ratnagiri, Gondia, and Sindhudurg.
However, the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s response to inquiries from The Hindu revealed that 225 of these UDAN routes have now failed
