BENGALURU- Today (September 12, 2023), Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) officially began its international flight operations at the newly constructed Terminal 2 (T2), which was built at a cost of Rs 13,000 crore.

Starting from Tuesday, Terminal-2 (T2) at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru will commence international operations and will also handle domestic flights.
In collaboration with domestic computer vision company Industry.ai and American technology company Nvidia Corp, Bengaluru International Airport Ltd revealed a new development on Wednesday.
Tata-owned Air India (AI), the prominent global airline of India, is set to relocate its flight activities from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru, starting from August 31, 2023.
Terminal 2 was awarded the prestigious IGBC Platinum certification by the Indian Green Building Council under the IGBC Green New Building rating system
