The Kingfisher Airlines fiasco resumes haunting its owner and employees even a decade later. An Indian airline has gone from promising 5-star service to passengers to operating out of funds to pay its employees. Its owner, Vijay Mallya, who is now in the UK, is often in the information at court trials, and every time a new sentence is declared, he scratches the wounds of several former workers who are still waiting for their dues to be paid.

Chaos in the Indian airline operations was seen last week as several flights got delayed due to Air India’s recruitment process. As per the news agencies report, Tata-owned Air India is on a hiring spree and therefore had scheduled interviews for Saturday (July 2).

Dublin Airport suffered a meltdown on Sunday as passengers were forced to queue outside Terminals 1 and 2 in the morning hours. The airport struggled with security checks, with not enough lanes open and traffic rising rapidly. The shortage of staff led to hundreds missing their flights after expending hours in the queue.
