Emirates announced on May 22 that 46 additional flights will be added for the demand during the Hajj pilgrimage and Eid Al Adha celebrations.

In a bid to enhance safety and security measures, King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah has issued a comprehensive list of 30 items that are strictly prohibited from being carried in flight passengers’ baggage in the wake of an increase in Hajj Pilgrims.
In anticipation of the Hajj season and upcoming Eid Al Adha celebrations, Middle East Carrier, Emirates (EK), is introducing extra flights to key regional destinations to accommodate the significant travel demand during this special period.
