Narita Airport (NRT) in Tokyo encountered two separate Boeing 747 incidents involving Atlas Air (5Y) and Silk Way West Airlines (7L).

According to reports, Atlas Air (5Y) Boeing 747 operating flight to Miami (MIA) was diverted to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), and while taxiing wing tip collided with one of the Hangar structures.
The legendary B747, often known as the “Queen of the Skies,” will depart for history on February 1 when Boeing delivers the final example to Atlas Air from its Everett production facility in Washington.
The last Boeing 747 will soon roll off Boeing’s production line. Once the finishing touches are put, the final Boeing 747-8F will be given to Atlas Air, the cargo carrier’s final delivery of the aircraft type and marking the end of an iconic half-century-long-era in the aviation industry.
An investor group led by Apollo Global Management Inc. is acquiring Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. for about $3.2 billion, expanding its foray into aircraft leasing and charter flying as the need for air cargo cools from pandemic-era highs.
