DUBAI- Emirates (EK), headquartered at Dubai International Airport (DXB), carried 55.6 million passengers in 2025 across nearly 180,580 flights, circling the Earth 29,290 times and placing orders for 73 new aircraft to strengthen future operations.
From new Airbus A350 aircraft and expanded routes to accessibility leadership and major sports partnerships, Emirates (EK) continued to grow its global network through hubs such as Dubai International Airport (DXB) and key destinations including Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and Montreal Airport (YUL).

Emirates 2025 Review
The first Emirates Airbus A350 entered commercial service in early January with a maiden flight to Edinburgh. The A350 network has since grown to 16 aircraft serving 18 cities across Europe, West Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. North America will follow when Montreal services launch in February 2026.
Growth across East Asia continued as Emirates added Shenzhen and Hangzhou in Mainland China, along with Danang in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia via Bangkok. These routes respond to increasing demand for both business and tourism travel across China and Southeast Asia.
Premium Economy deployment accelerated through the addition of new A350 aircraft and retrofitted Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 jets. More than 100 aircraft now feature Premium Economy and refreshed cabin interiors across nearly 70 cities, accounting for about 40 percent of the passenger fleet.
In November at the Dubai Airshow, Emirates confirmed the rollout of Starlink WiFi across 232 aircraft. Installations begin with the Boeing 777 fleet and will extend to the A380 from early 2026, making Emirates the first airline to introduce Starlink on the A380. Around 11 aircraft per month will be upgraded, with over 123 aircraft expected to offer complimentary ultra-fast streaming, browsing, work, and gaming connectivity by the end of next year.
