NEW YORK- JetBlue Airways (B6) has introduced “Wicked Blue,” a specially painted Airbus A320 honoring more than 20 years of service in Boston. The aircraft reflects the airline’s strong community ties and sustained growth at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
Boston remains one of JetBlue’s most important markets, supporting network expansion, new international routes, and the upcoming BlueHouse™ lounge, while reinforcing the airline’s JetForward growth strategy.

JetBlue Wicked Blue livery
Wicked Blue is named after a New England slang term meaning “extremely” and serves as a visual tribute to JetBlue’s Boston roots. The livery is applied to an Airbus A320 registered as N537JT.
The aircraft’s tail features a postcard-style stamp marking the date of JetBlue’s first-ever revenue flight from Boston.
Across the blue fuselage, a large “BOSTON” graphic incorporates city-inspired illustrations that highlight Boston’s history, culture, and landmarks.
Each letter in the design includes distinct visual elements, such as an ode to Boston’s iconic transportation system, the Paul Revere statue in the North End, the Zakim Bridge anchoring the skyline, a classic Boston lobster, the Massachusetts State House with its golden dome, and the National Grid tank along the Dorchester waterfront featuring the well-known “Rainbow Swash” mural.
JetBlue President Marty St. George stated that Wicked Blue represents pride in the Boston community, JetBlue crewmembers, and customers who helped shape the airline’s growth.
He emphasized that Boston has a large and loyal customer base and plays a central role in JetBlue’s JetForward strategy.
According to St. George, Boston is a key driver of JetBlue’s goal to deliver the strongest East Coast leisure network, making the aircraft a meaningful way to thank customers who have supported the airline for more than two decades.

Boston’s Biggest Airline by Seats and Flights
JetBlue launched service at Boston Logan International Airport in 2004 and has since become Boston’s biggest airline.
Today, the carrier operates more mainline seats and more flights from Boston than any other airline.
From Logan, JetBlue connects customers to major leisure destinations, offering the most flights to California, Florida, and the Caribbean among competing carriers in the market.

Expanding Transatlantic and Domestic Service
Boston is JetBlue’s leading transatlantic gateway among its focus cities. The airline has announced new nonstop service from Boston to Barcelona starting April 16, 2026, and to Milan beginning May 11, 2026.
JetBlue is also strengthening its domestic network with new routes from Boston to Daytona Beach and Vero Beach, launching this month, further expanding leisure options for New England travelers.

Loyalty Growth and Lounge Investment
Boston is home to a significant number of JetBlue TrueBlue Mosaic members. To support this loyal customer base, JetBlue will open its second BlueHouse™ lounge location at Logan Airport in 2026.
The BlueHouse™ lounge, located in Terminal C, will provide a comfortable, home-like environment where customers can work, relax, and enjoy locally inspired food and beverages before departure.

Bottom Line
Wicked Blue joins JetBlue’s family of Boston-related special liveries, which also recognize the airline’s official sponsorships of the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox.
The aircraft also reflects JetBlue’s long-standing partnership with Dunkin’, further reinforcing the airline’s connection to Boston’s culture and identity.
