SINGAPORE- Jetstar (JQ) will introduce new direct flights between Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) and Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) from 25 March 2026, offering fares starting at $199.
The service will operate three times weekly on Airbus A321LR aircraft, giving Sunshine Coast travellers easier access to Bali and onward connections to Singapore (SIN) via Denpasar.
Jetstar Sunshine Coast to Bali Flight via Singapore
The new Sunshine Coast–Bali route marks Jetstar’s first direct connection between these two destinations and the airline’s tenth route from Australia to Bali. With around 70,000 seats available annually, the service will save travellers the drive to Brisbane (BNE) for international flights.
Operating three times a week, flights will take approximately six hours each way. Passengers can now travel from Sunshine Coast to Bali’s beaches and cultural attractions without layovers, reinforcing Jetstar’s role as the largest carrier in South-East Queensland.
Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully described the launch as a milestone for both the airline and the region, emphasizing the convenience and affordability it brings.
She highlighted that the new route provides “an easy international getaway” and aligns with Jetstar’s ongoing network expansion to meet rising demand for low-cost travel.
Strengthening Connections Across Asia
The Sunshine Coast–Bali flights are strategically timed to connect with Jetstar’s Bali–Singapore services, allowing travellers to reach Singapore by evening on the same day. This connection enhances access to the Qantas Group’s wider international network and opens new opportunities for business and leisure travel.
Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN) serves as a major Asian hub, linking passengers to destinations across Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. The new routing will not only attract outbound Australian travellers but also bring more international visitors directly to the Sunshine Coast.
Sunshine Coast Airport CEO Chris Mills called the development “a game changer,” noting that it transforms the region’s global reach.
He explained that travellers can now reach both Bali and Singapore without backtracking to Brisbane, while inbound tourists can fly straight to a region renowned for its beaches, hinterland, and tourism experiences.

Launch Sale and Fare Details
To celebrate the new route, Jetstar has launched a 48-hour Route Launch Sale offering one-way fares from Sunshine Coast (MCY) to Bali (DPS) starting at $199.
The sale runs until 12 noon QLD time on 8 November 2025, unless sold out. Fares exclude checked baggage and are subject to standard Jetstar terms and government approvals.
