PARIS- Air France (AF) is expanding the rollout of its new La Première first class suite, now flying on select Boeing 777-300ER routes. The airline’s flagship cabin, already regarded among the best in the world, is being introduced progressively across major long-haul destinations.
As of late 2025, six aircraft feature the redesigned suites, with more joining the fleet each month through 2026. The new configuration enhances both the first and business class experiences, marking a significant upgrade in Air France’s premium offering.

Air France La Premiere Seats
Air France’s La Première first class is available exclusively on a subfleet of Boeing 777-300ERs configured in four cabins—first, business, premium economy, and economy.
About half of the airline’s 777-300ER fleet currently carries this configuration, and all future first class services will remain within this aircraft type.
The new La Première suite represents a complete redesign, featuring a larger private area, advanced lighting, and refined materials inspired by French luxury design.
Each suite offers both a seat and a chaise longue, providing passengers with a distinct space for lounging and sleeping.
The update also aligns with Air France’s broader plan to modernize its long-haul cabins, including the introduction of enclosed business class seats with doors.

Current Routes Featuring La Première
Air France operates Boeing 777-300ERs with La Première on select frequencies between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and:
- Abidjan (ABJ)
- Dubai (DXB)
- Los Angeles (LAX)
- Miami (MIA)
- New York (JFK)
- San Francisco (SFO)
- São Paulo (GRU)
- Singapore (SIN)
- Tokyo (HND)
- Washington D.C. (IAD)
From December 15, 2025, to March 28, 2026, La Première will also appear on flights to Tel Aviv (TLV). The route may see continued service beyond that period, depending on seasonal performance and demand.
In previous years, Air France offered La Première to destinations such as Beirut (BEY), Houston (IAH), Johannesburg (JNB), and Mexico City (MEX). Some of these may return to the network as the fleet retrofit progresses.

The latest La Première suites are already available on several high-profile routes:

Miami (MIA) will join the list on November 10, 2025, operating flights AF90/91. Tokyo (HND) is expected to follow by December 2025, with gradual integration as more aircraft complete reconfiguration.
So far, the upgraded cabins can be found on aircraft registered as F-GSQE, F-GZND, F-GZNK, F-GZNP, F-GZNQ, and F-GSQK. Another jet, F-GSQC, is currently undergoing modification and will reenter service soon.
Travelers can identify whether their flight features the new suite via the Air France website, which highlights aircraft equipped with the new La Première cabin. The new layout features seats numbered 1A, 1D, 1H, and 1L, replacing the older 1A, 1E, 1F, and 1L configuration.
Fleet Upgrade Timeline
Air France aims to retrofit all Boeing 777-300ERs offering first class by the end of 2026, reconfiguring roughly one aircraft per month.
Each retrofit brings both the new La Première suite and the enhanced business class cabin to the fleet, ensuring a consistent premium experience across long-haul operations.
While first class draws most of the attention, the concurrent upgrade of business class—now featuring doors and greater privacy—signals Air France’s commitment to elevating comfort across all premium cabins.

Bottom Line
Air France (AF) continues to expand its La Première experience, focusing on Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) as the hub for its most luxurious long-haul routes.
With six aircraft already updated and more joining soon, passengers flying to New York (JFK), Singapore (SIN), Los Angeles (LAX), and Miami (MIA) will enjoy a next-generation first class product that sets new standards for privacy and design.
