MUNICH- Lufthansa (LH) has launched its new Allegris onboard travel experience on long-haul routes, beginning with scheduled service from Munich (MUC) to Tokyo Haneda (HND) on October 27, 2025. The return flight, LH715, departed the same day at 10:45 local time, marking the official start of Lufthansa’s new cabin generation in Asia.
The Airbus A350-900 serving this route now features the full Allegris product across all classes, including the completely redesigned First Class cabin that emphasizes privacy, personalization, and passenger comfort.

Lufthansa A350 Allegris to Tokyo
Lufthansa’s Allegris marks a major transformation in the airline’s premium travel experience, representing the company’s largest-ever investment in onboard products.
Designed around the concept of individualization, Allegris tailors comfort to each passenger’s preferences through innovative design, flexible seating options, and upgraded cabin features.
According to Heiko Reitz, Chief Commercial Officer at Lufthansa Airlines, the new product highlights the airline’s commitment to quality and customer-focused design. He emphasized that personalization and privacy—values highly appreciated by Japanese travelers—are central to the Allegris experience.
Currently, Lufthansa Group operates 22 weekly flights from Europe to Japan. The rollout of Allegris on the Munich–Tokyo route enhances connectivity through the airline’s 5-star Munich hub while setting a new benchmark for transcontinental comfort.

Inside the Allegris First Class
The Allegris First Class aboard the Airbus A350-900 introduces two individual suites and a unique “Suite Plus” designed for single or paired travelers.
Each suite features nearly one-meter-wide seats that can be heated or cooled individually, allowing full control over the in-flight environment.
High walls, lockable doors, and personal wardrobes provide complete privacy, while large tables and wide entertainment screens create a refined space for dining or work. Wireless over-ear headphones and customizable lighting add another layer of personalization.
The Suite Plus option goes a step further, allowing two guests to travel together in a shared private suite without compromising comfort or exclusivity—a first in Lufthansa’s cabin history.

Strengthening Lufthansa’s Asia Strategy
The introduction of Allegris on the Munich–Tokyo route aligns with Lufthansa Group’s broader strategy to strengthen its premium offering in the Asia-Pacific market.
By deploying the upgraded A350-900 aircraft, Lufthansa reinforces Munich as a central European hub for Japanese travelers and a key link to the airline’s global network.
This launch also signals the start of a wider Allegris rollout across Lufthansa’s long-haul fleet, including upcoming deliveries of A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft, as the carrier continues its modernization program.
