MUMBAI- Tata-owned Indian full-service carrier Air India (AI) is set to deploy its newest widebody aircraft, Airbus A350, on a second International route, i.e., the Mumbai-Dubai route.
Starting June 1, 2024, Air India Mumbai (BOM) to Dubai (DXB) flight AI 983, which is currently served by Boeing 787, will see an upgrade to A350.
Air India A350 on Mumbai-Dubai
Gurugram-based carrier’s official website shows the upgrade, and you can fly on an A350 starting at 14,983 INR for the economy, 36,585 INR for Premium economy, and around 63,926 for Business class.
Air India operates 3 daily flights on Mumbai-Dubai routes, except on Tuesday and Friday, where it operates two daily flights. All these flights are currently served by Airbus A321neos and Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
Furthermore, the free-up capacity of Boeing 787 will help Air India in expanding its European network.
Here’s the flight schedule for Air India’s Mumbai-Dubai flight with A350:
AI983 will depart from BOM at 20:25 IST and arrive at DXB at 21:55 Gulf Standard Time (GST).
While the Return flight AI984 will take off from DXB at 23:40 GST and land at BOM at 4:20 IST.
Apart from this, Air India already operates the Delhi-Dubai flights from May 1, 2024, making it the first international route for India’s first A350 operator.

More International Flights
Starting on June 22, 2024, Air India will introduce daily non-stop flights from Delhi (DEL) to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) and Delhi to Milan Malpensa (MXP), increasing the frequency on these crucial routes from 4 to 5 times weekly, respectively.
Furthermore, Air India will augment its service on the Delhi-Copenhagen route by adding another flight, thereby increasing the frequency to 5 times weekly.
These additional flights complement Air India’s existing daily non-stop flights to Zurich (ZRH), commencing from June 16, 2024, and its daily services to Frankfurt (FRA) and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
This expansion will enhance inbound and outbound passenger traffic and cargo movement between India and Europe.
