BENGALURU- On Tuesday, Karnataka’s Industries Minister M B Patil instructed officials to provide assistance to Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal. Bansal indicated that the company sought 25 acres of land near Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru.
This decisive move, aimed at bolstering Lenskart’s operational infrastructure, underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to expansion and technological advancement in the dynamic landscape of the eyewear industry.
Lenskart Bengaluru Airport Expansion Plan
Bansal made his land requirement known on a platform denoted as ‘X,’ and remarkably, within a mere five minutes, the Minister responded affirmatively.
In his message, Bansal stated, “Lenskart is actively seeking 25 acres of land within a 60-kilometer radius of Kempegowda Bengaluru International Airport to construct our upcoming mega factory. Any parties interested in selling factory land in close proximity to the Bengaluru airport are encouraged to contact us via email at [email protected].”
In a prompt response, Patil conveyed, “Karnataka offers unparalleled opportunities! @peyushbansal @Lenskart_com The Industries Department stands ready to support and facilitate all your requirements. Our dedicated officials will promptly reach out to you.”
Sources familiar with the Minister’s office revealed that he provided directives to officials to assist Bansal in establishing his unit in Bengaluru.
