GOA- Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia virtually inaugurated the first flight of FLY91 (IC), supported by aviation industry veteran Manoj Chacko, connecting Mopa in Goa and Agatti in Lakshadweep on Tuesday (March 12, 2024).
The airline has announced that scheduled flights will commence from March 18, 2024, operating between Manohar International Airport in Goa and various destinations, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jalgaon, Agatti, Pune, and Nanded. Flights from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune to Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Nanded, and Goa will be introduced in phases.
FLY91 First Flight to Lakshadweep
During his inaugural address, Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia noted the positive shift in the aviation industry under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
He emphasized the transformative growth in civil aviation over the past decade, marking the establishment of six new regional airlines. Shri Scindia highlighted the government’s commitment to connecting tier 2 and tier 3 cities through the UDAN scheme, aiming to increase domestic air traffic to 30 crores by 2030, a significant rise from the 6 crores recorded in 2014.
Fly91 Chairman attended the event. Harsha Raghavan, Asangba Chuba Ao, Jt. Secretary MoCA and other officials from AAI and the Ministry of Civil Aviation were also present.
Celebrating the commencement of FLY91 flights connecting Manohar International Airport, Goa, and Agatti Islands, Lakshadweep, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed optimism that this initiative would significantly enhance tourism and stimulate economic growth.
“It’s truly gratifying to witness a Goa-based airline taking flight after the inauguration of Manohar International Airport. By connecting smaller cities under the ‘Deko apna desh’ and ‘Udaan’ schemes, this is poised to boost both tourism and the economy,” stated the Goa Chief Minister.

On March 6, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) officially issued the air operator’s certificate to Just Udo Aviation Pvt Ltd, allowing it to operate its airline, Fly91.
CEO Manoj Chacko envisions FLY19 expanding its fleet to 35 aircraft and establishing connections with 50 cities in India within the next five years.
