GOA- FLY91 (IC), India’s latest regional airline, commenced operations on March 18, 2024, departing from Goa’s Manohar International Airport (GOX). Presently, they provide services to Bangalore, Sindhudurg, Hyderabad, Agatti (Lakshadweep), and Jalgaon from their hub in Goa.
I (Utkarsh Thakkar), popularly known as Vimanspotter, had the opportunity to experience this maiden flight from Goa to Agatti.

First of all, congratulations to the FLY91 team for completing one month of operations in the blink of an eye. We wish they have a successful journey ahead and soar in the skies.

With a fleet consisting of two sleek ATR72-600 turboprop planes (VT-FIB and VT-FIC), FLY91 ensures smooth travel experiences.
Our journey from Agatti to Goa was aboard VT-FIB. Checking in was effortless – FLY91 offers automated check-in services and promptly sends your boarding pass directly to your mobile device post-booking! Additionally, as passengers boarded, guess what they received? Toffees! It evoked a nostalgic feeling reminiscent of the early 2000s.
The aircraft boasted comfortable leather seating with ample legroom (30″ seat pitch) and maintained a lower altitude than jet planes, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.
Their onboard menu featured a diverse selection of snacks at reasonable prices, and surprisingly, all items were available at an introductory offer price of just ₹100.
For in-flight entertainment, passengers could enjoy a curated collection of Amar Chitra Katha comics, provided free of charge! Interested in taking one home? They were available for purchase at ₹100 each, offering a delightful way to carry a piece of Indian culture with you 🇮🇳.
Views: Just Looking like a Wow
As we approached our destination, the journey to Agatti treated passengers to magnificent vistas of the Arabian Sea and enchanting islands. Stunning views were guaranteed regardless of your seat’s position, whether on the left or right side.
FLY91 appears exceptionally customer-friendly as well – they allow passengers to make any adjustments to their flight for a nominal fee of ₹491, significantly lower than most other airlines in India! Further, this presents an excellent choice for travelers seeking flexibility.
In conclusion, it was a fantastic inaugural flight with FLY91! A hearty congratulations to their team for a triumphant launch. Here’s to numerous more incredible journeys ahead!
