SWITZERLAND- In a rare and memorable encounter, a mother-daughter pair, Kimmy Chedel (59) and her 25-year-old daughter Zoe Doyle, embarked on an extraordinary journey from Seychelles to Switzerland via Emirates (EK).
According to a report on stuff.co.nz, the duo, originally bound for Switzerland to celebrate Christmas with family, discovered that they were the exclusive passengers on the flight, making their travel experience truly unique and unforgettable.

In addition, they recorded a video capturing Zoe’s dance down a passenger aisle, creating snow angels on the plane’s floor. Meanwhile, her mother playfully tried on a hat worn by a cabin crew member.
“We were completely unaware that we were the sole passengers. Although there were four others in first class, they were completely isolated from us, leaving us essentially alone.”
“Given the combination of monsoon season in the Seychelles and it being Christmas Day, it seemed like no one else was flying, according to Zoe.”
Even with just two passengers on board, the crew went out of their way to ensure the mother-daughter pair had a delightful journey, engaging in conversation and filming videos with them.
“The flight attendants were genuinely thrilled about the unusual emptiness. According to them, it’s a rare occurrence. Although we couldn’t access first class, they gave us a little tour of the plane.
“We had a blast chatting with the flight attendants, creating amusing videos together. They even brought out a Polaroid camera and dressed my Mom in the cabin crew uniform. It was a fantastic experience,” Zoe shared.
