GURUGRAM- In the upcoming Northern summer season of 2024, Air India Express (IX) intends to deploy Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft for services to Dammam and Dubai, as indicated in a recent schedule update.
As of December 31, 2023, the scheduled international operations for the 737 MAX and their corresponding frequencies are outlined below.
Air India Express 737 MAX Routes
Starting from April 1, 2024, Goa Dabolim will operate four weekly flights to Dubai. From the same date, Hyderabad will have a daily service to Dammam.
Additionally, beginning April 5, 2024, Indore will offer one weekly flight to Dubai, and Kochi will have a weekly flight to Dubai starting April 3, 2024.
Lucknow is scheduled for one daily flight to Dubai starting March 31, 2024, while Mumbai will have a daily flight to Dammam from the same date.
Lastly, Thiruvananthapuram will initiate one weekly flight to Dubai from April 2, 2024.
Leasing 10 New Planes
Griffin Global Asset Management (“Griffin”) and Bain Capital, through their collaborative venture, have officially announced their agreement to acquire and lease back ten Boeing 737 MAX 8 (737-8) aircraft for Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India (AI).
The initial aircraft was delivered in November 2023, while the remaining nine are scheduled for delivery throughout the latter part of the fourth quarter of 2023 and the initial quarter of 2024.
It serves as a testament to the platform’s capability to deliver tailored solutions to airlines, original equipment manufacturers, and other entities within the industry.
