DUBAI, MANILA- Middle East carrier Emirates (EK) and Philippine Airlines (PR) have broadened their existing interline agreement, ushering in a new phase of collaboration.

This enhancement enables Emirates travelers to gain access to domestic destinations within the Philippine Airlines network via multiple gateways, including Cebu and Clark, in addition to the previously established interline connections via Manila.

          Emirates Philippine Interline New Routes

This strategic partnership encompasses all three major gateways served by Emirates in the Philippines – namely, Manila, Cebu, and Clark.

By expanding this collaboration, passengers are set to experience seamless connectivity, granting them the ability to effortlessly reach an extended array of destinations across the Philippines by utilizing a single ticket and benefiting from a unified baggage policy.

Passengers flying with Emirates will enjoy a streamlined booking process that grants them access to various destinations within Philippine Airlines’ network.

Notably, this includes points such as Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Caticlan, and Puerto Princesa through the gateway of Cebu.

Furthermore, destinations such as Cebu, Caticlan, and Busuanga can be reached via Clark, thereby offering travelers enhanced accessibility and flexibility across the Philippines.

          Win-Win for Everyone

The extended interline agreement also presents advantages for Philippine Airlines’ passengers, as they can now take advantage of the expanded network and book flights operated by Emirates to a variety of destinations.

This includes cities such as Amman, Birmingham, Cape Town, Dammam, Dublin, Lisbon, Manchester, Muscat, and Riyadh via the Dubai hub.

Notably, Philippine Airlines maintains daily flights between Manila and Dubai, which facilitates smooth and efficient connections to various cities across Europe, Africa, and other parts of the Middle East.

This comprehensive arrangement ensures that passengers can receive their boarding passes and check their baggage through to their final destinations, streamlining their travel experience.

The expansion of this collaboration follows several months after the initial announcement of the interline agreement between Emirates and Philippine Airlines.

This development underscores the shared commitment of both carriers to address the evolving demands of travelers by offering increased choices, flexibility, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Emirates’ presence in the Philippines dates back to 1990, with the airline currently operating 25 weekly flights connecting Manila, Cebu, and Clark.

Notably, Emirates is distinguished as the sole air carrier to provide First-Class accommodations on flights to Manila, catering to premium passengers in the market.

With a robust network of 29 codeshare partners and 110 interline alliances, Emirates’ influence extends beyond its routes, facilitating greater connectivity and convenience for travelers worldwide.
