Travelers flying with United Airlines in and out of Denver can now enroll in TSA PreCheck without requiring an appointment.
United On-Site TSA Pre-Check at Denver
This enrollment opportunity offers a convenient method for TSA PreCheck enrollment to all United travelers arriving at, connecting through, and departing from Denver.
Enrolling takes less than five minutes, and most passengers will receive their Known Traveler Number (KTN) within three to five days. The TSA PreCheck enrollment facilitated by IDEMIA costs $78 and covers five years of participation.
“We are thrilled to launch this pilot program in partnership with United Airlines. This collaboration with United Airlines marks a unique initiative. It aligns with IDEMIA’s and United Airlines’ shared objective of enrolling more travelers in TSA PreCheck, bringing together convenience and accessibility for passengers traveling through Denver International Airport.”stated Lisa Sullivan, Senior Vice President of Travel and Transport at IDEMIA Identity and Security North America.
United® MileagePlus® members have the option to redeem 11,000 of their miles to cover the $78 application fee.
Furthermore, United Club SM Infinite Cardmembers, United SM Explorer Cardmembers, and United Quest SM Cardmembers have the opportunity to receive a statement credit for the application fee once every four years when the fee is charged to their United card.

TSA PreCheck Benefits
TSA PreCheck provides a multitude of advantages to enrolled travelers, encompassing dedicated screening lanes accessible at over 200 participating airports across the nation. Remarkably, 99% of TSA PreCheck passengers experience wait times of less than 10 minutes.
Notably, the requirement to remove shoes, belts, 3-1-1 liquids, or lightweight jackets is eliminated. When flying on the same reservation as enrolled adults and bearing the TSA PreCheck indicator on their boarding pass, adolescents aged 13-17 can join them at the TSA PreCheck lanes.
Children aged 12 and under can accompany enrolled parents or guardians through the TSA PreCheck lanes without any restrictions.
Larry Nau, TSA Federal Security Director for Colorado, emphasized TSA PreCheck’s substantial advantages to those who meet its enrollment criteria, including reduced physical contact, fewer items on the conveyor belt, and expedited screening.
He highlighted that this benefit is a valuable and cost-effective travel option, with a $78 fee for five years, equating to approximately $15 per year.
Jennifer Schwierzke, United’s Vice President of Customer Strategy and Innovation, expressed enthusiasm for the airline’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience.
She underlined that United customers at Denver International Airport can now conveniently enroll in TSA PreCheck, ensuring a smoother journey through the airport.
