Ali Gayward, UK Country Manager at easyJet, expressed her delight in the network expansion at the new Birmingham base, stating that it will create approximately 100 direct jobs for pilots and crew and over 1,200 additional indirect jobs.

Tom Screen, Aviation Director for Birmingham Airport (BHX), conveyed his excitement about EasyJet’s decision to base three aircraft at the airport from March 2024. He commended the launch of easyJet holidays to Birmingham Airport customers.
